WHATCHA DOIN' PAPA?

Always interested in what Papa is doing, Ever stands by. Although she can't speak English, she can certainly communicate. Her little grunts and babbles have so much intonation in them, we can't mistake the intent behind the sounds.
Here she made very definite "?" sounds, so Papa told her what he was doing.
Also, she has 3 baby sign language signs that she uses. "Change" (diaper), "All done", and "Eat". Just this morning she was sitting on my lap and did the "Eat" sign, so I promptly got up and cut her some fresh apple and made her a scrambled egg with cheese. :-)
She nods and shakes her head at the appropriate times to indicate yes or no, and she's made up her own little sign to get someone to pick her up by holding out one or both hands and flexing all her fingers in a "come here" sort of way.
So, this little one can communicate quite well!
